わんこだしで薬膳ベジチップス

WANKO DASHI Herbal-Inspired Veggie Chips

Cooking video

Looking for a small change to your dog's usual meals.
These herbal-inspired veggie chips are made with thinly sliced carrot, zucchini, and Japanese yam.

A little WANKO DASHI powder adds aroma at the end.
Serve the chips in small pieces as an occasional treat or meal topper.

Ingredients

Approximately 40 kcal for the whole recipe.
This is an estimate and varies with the type of yam and amount of powder used.

  • Zucchini: 30 g
  • Carrot: 30 g
  • Japanese yam: 30 g
  • WANKO DASHI powder: a small amount, to finish

How to make it

  1. Peel the carrot and Japanese yam, then slice them about 2 mm thick.
  2. Slice the zucchini about 2 mm thick.
  3. Arrange the slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking tray.
Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (300°F) for about 20 minutes, turning them partway through. Adjust the time for the thickness of the slices and your oven.
Check that the yam is cooked through.
  4. Let the chips cool, then sprinkle with a small amount of WANKO DASHI powder.

Serving notes

Break the chips into pieces your dog can eat comfortably, and avoid serving any that have become too hard.
Offer small portions suited to your dog's size, age, health, and usual diet.

Introduce any new ingredient in a small amount and watch your dog afterward.
If your dog has allergies, a medical condition, or dietary restrictions, consult your veterinarian first.

Another way to use WANKO DASHI
