WANKO DASHI Okra Jelly
Cooking video
As the heat lingers, it is important to continue paying attention to your dog’s meals and hydration.
This “edible hydration” recipe combines WANKO DASHI with ground pork, okra, tomato, and carrot to help your dog enjoy adding moisture to their diet:
“Okra Jelly.”
It brings together okra’s natural thickness and the goodness of yakuzen ingredients, making it an easy option for a warm-weather treat or a topping for your dog’s usual meal.

A Note on Yakuzen Ingredients
In traditional yakuzen practice, pork is regarded as a nourishing ingredient, okra is used with digestive comfort in mind, and tomato has long been included in seasonal meals that emphasize moisture during hot weather.
These descriptions reflect traditional dietary concepts and are not claims that the ingredients treat or prevent disease.
Feeding Notes
Do not serve the entire batch at once. Adjust the amount according to your dog’s weight, age, condition, and usual diet.
When introducing a new ingredient, start with a small amount and observe your dog afterward.
Break the jelly into an appropriate size to reduce the risk of choking.
If your dog has a medical condition, allergies, dietary restrictions, or concerning symptoms, consult your veterinarian before serving.
Keep the finished jelly refrigerated and use it as soon as possible with appropriate food hygiene.
How to Use WANKO DASHI

Pour it over food or use it in recipes such as this chilled jelly, depending on your dog’s usual diet.
